Live from the Lavender Library

I read from Behr Facts tonight while we had an evening of milk and cookies at Sacramento’s Lavender Library. Want to see my small portion of the evening? Well, here’s the video on Scott’s Facebook site.
Also reading from their books tonight were Kim Fielding, Amy Lane, D. L. Kent, LE FrankGenevieve Wolfe, and Scott Coatsworth. It was a great evening with a small but attentive audience. We’ve consequently been asked back for a fall event and to share the Library’s booth for upcoming Pride events. So this should be a really interesting year!
By the way, the audio book version of Behr Facts is on sale at Amazon for $1.99, down from its usual price of $14.59. Quite a savings if you like audio books. (And the narrator, David Ross, reads it much better than I do!)

In the Planning

The next book in the Foothills Pride series, tentatively titled Wood Worked Love, will give readers a look at Guy Stone's big brother. Guy is one of the main characters in What's in a Name? and has been running Stonewall Saloon by himself while his brother was in the Army.

Now retired, Eric Stone needs time to get his head together about what he wants to do in civilian life. Since Matt Comstock is in Stone Acres to restore the Stone family cabin and barn to turn them into a history museum, Guy urges Eric to help him.

Neither Eric nor Matt is looking for love, but cupid is stalking them. How good are they at evasion? Or will love's arrows find them? Stay tuned to find out.

If you have read or heard What's in a Name?, now's a good time to catch up while I write Wood Worked. You can buy a copy of the eBook or audio at:

Another Terrific Audio Review

I'm not quite sure how to keep up with the audio reviews because when I do a Google search, it seems I find another one. Which is great--don't get me wrong!

But still, I wish I knew about them as they ran so that I could tell everyone about them.

The latest is an audio review of Redesigning Max, #2 in the Foothills Pride series, from TTC Books and Review. The reviewer calls is an "allover good romance" which really made my evening.

Coffee Card Giveaway and New Year's Resolutions

I'm at Joyfully Jay today talking about New Year's Resolutions which I rarely make. I don't know what motivated me this year, but you can now read what I'm hoping to accomplish.

If you comment between now (January 9, 2017) and January 11, 2017, you can enter to win one of the $10 coffee cards I'm giving away. Remember that just because it's called a coffee card, you don't have to order coffee--in case you're like me and drink tea instead.

If you're one of the lucky winners, be sure to sit back, relax, and enjoy your cuppa of choice! Good luck!

Redesigning Max Goes Audio

Narrator David Ross has wrapped up taping for Redesigning Max, the second of the Foothills Pride series. The audio will be available in three weeks from Audible, and shortly afterward from Dreamspinner Press and Amazon.

Ross also narrated What's in a Name?, the first series book, and will start working on Behr Facts, the third Foothills book. I absolutely love his voice and hope that fans of the series do too.

What About the Audio Book?

I've selected a narrator for my book/s, but because he's backed up with narrating jobs (yea, him!), he won't be able to start on WHAT'S IN A NAME? for a while. So the audio won't be available until December or January when SHORT ORDER will be released. I'm hoping it might be available during the holidays. We'll see.
